Description
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 inch (2.54 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Gules, a saltire Gray fimbriated Or between in pale a sheathed Roman sword, point to base, and a fleur-de-lis of the last.  Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Gold scroll inscribed UT QUOCUMPQUE PARATUS in Black letters.

Symbolism
The shield is red for Artillery.  The gray saltire commemorates service in the Confederate States Army during the Civil war.  The sheathed Roman sword is taken from the Spanish War Service Medal, indicating that the organization did not leave the continental limits of the United States during the Spanish-American War.  The fleur-de-lis symbolizes World War I service.  The motto translates to Prepared For Any Emergency.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 252d Coast Artillery Regiment on 14 March 1929.  It was redesignated for the 150th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion on 29 April 1952.  The insignia was redesignated for the 252d Artillery Regiment on 2 May 1960.
